St Helier Promenade St. Helier, | Directions
Description

The Promenade is a great place to catch some exercise and is very popular at all times of the year.  The path is flat all the way and is suited to most levels of fitness.  At a little over 4 miles long, it runs from the outskirts of St Helier harbour down to St Aubin and follows the contour of the beach on one side and Victoria Avenue on the other.

Along the path, a separate lane is designated to bikes and is clearly marked as such.  The cyclists can be possessive of their right of way so stick to the cobbled stones or flat pedestrian part.

During the day, beautiful views of St Aubin's Bay and Elizabeth Castle are highlights whilst, at night, the entire stretch is illuminated; as is Elizabeth Castle.

Public toilets, cafes and ice-cream stops are dotted along the stretch and, once you reach St Aubin, you'll be spoilt for choice with ways to reward yourself.  St Aubin houses some of the island's best restaurants.
