Greve de Lecq

Greve de Lecq beach is on Jersey’s North coast located between St. Mary and St. Ouen, with high cliffs either side helps create it a sheltered beach from the wind most of the time. A large cave running through the eastern headland and rock pools makes it a popular choice for kayaking, surfing, paddleboard, rock climbing, and other activities for those who like to explore or for families.

The golden sandy beach has easy access and during the summer months you can hire a deck chair, umbrella or some water sports hire equipment. Due to fast tidal conditions, lifeguards are in operation during the busy months.

With 2 cafes, a shop along the front and 2 pubs set back from the beach serving cold drinks and a varied food menu, there's something for everyone.

There are some lovely picturesque walks in this area or try a cliff path walk with views across to Guernsey and Sark on clear days. Don't forget to look out at the sea where puffins can be seen during the breeding season.

Visitors can also reach the beach via bus route 9 of the public bus service.
