Bouley Bay is a small harbour found on Jersey’s north coast with a sweeping bay stretching for two miles. The pebble beach is popular with swimmers, kayakers and home to many rock pools with marine life. Due to its deep waters, Bouley Bay is a favoured spot for scuba diving. Locals and visitors regularly fish off the pier looking out at the views across to the Normandy coast.
Jutting out over the bay is Fort Leicester, a medieval fort with a modern interior that can be let out from Jersey Heritage for a quirky self-catered stay.
The bay is nestled next to towering cliffs which are the tallest on the island standing at 400 feet there's a coastal cliff path walk to Bonne Nuit with stunning scenery.
Bouley Bay is also the home of the Bouley Bay Hill Climb, a well-known motorsports event that takes place in the winding roads around the harbour bringing competitors from all over the world.
You will find a beach cafe but there are no lifeguards or deck chair hire.
There are public toilets and limited parking at the bottom of the hill.
