My partner and I spent a week at this lovely hotel .The owners went out of their way to accommodate my dietary needs and I really appreciated that and the information about nice restaurants and places to visit. The hotel was quirky which we liked and the breakfasts were fantastic to die for really. Every where was spotlessly clean and the location was within walking distance of places to visit. A most enjoyable holiday and terrific hosts, looking forward to going back again . Doreen Vaughan

The location of this hotel is close to a park, beach area and downtown. The rooms are comfortable but lacking in facilities like fridge or aircon. Some windows had broken catches. But the service is absolutely above and beyond. There is nothing the staff will not fo to help. And the breakfast is out of this world. Do not be fooled by the description "continental breakfast". A wonderful gem of a hotel. The two star designation does it a disservice. Though the rooms are modest they are very clean, comfortable and refreshingly, everything works. The breakfasts are described as continental but this under-values them. There is a wide choice of options all beautifully presented in a charmingly old-fashioned breakfast room. It also has a snug little bar. The owners were extremely helpful in advance of my stay. Parking is limited but helpful advice is provided. The owners/managers understand the hospitality business which visitors appreciate from the very moment of arrival. Phil Evans

A superb, friendly, family-run hotel, established over 35 years, extremely comfortable and suitable for both holidaymakers and business visits.

 

The hotel has an ideal location, just opposite Howard Davis Park, and just 2 minutes walk from the town centre. All rooms have private shower & WC (some with bath and shower).

 

They are also very tastefully styled, and feature: Colour Television (Satellite & 4 English Channels), Direct-dial telephone, Tea/coffee making, hairdryers, radio, alarm clock, and an efficiency
