Prior to the opening of Aztec House, many of the residents would have lived between emergency accommodation (claiming a bed by the night) and rough sleeping; some for many years. Aztec House allowed Shelter to provide some security to some extremely vulnerable men and women.

Our team serves breakfast, lunch, dinner and supper at three of our sites. We also offer outreach, emergency accommodation, a drunk and incapable unit, day facilities, advice and more. Our goal is to accommodate the homeless for as little time as possible while helping them return to mainstream living.
