Hunt Bros Ltd are a local family business established in 1851, specialising in Jersey scrap metal. We strive to meet the metal recycling needs of the island, with modern techniques to minimise waste, and maximise recycling.
We recycle all grades of ferrous and non-ferrous metal, and we buy them for cash! We aim to minimize waste and maximise recycling to help our environment, and Jersey. We have modern 21st century facilities at our new depot at La Collette, and we aim to give you the best value for your scrap, in large or small quantities.
Cable recycling is a new and exciting focus for Hunt Bros Ltd. With our modern cable granulation plant, we can recycle 99.9% of copper from electrical wire. The plastic is sold locally for equestrian purposes. This means that less than 1% is waste which goes to the EFW at La Collette, producing products for the island and reducing waste as well.
