The Dreaming Trees

This February half term, trees in Howard Davis Park will be illuminated to create a magical wonderland further enhanced with a unique soundscape.

Inspired by the work of Dr Suzanne Simard, leader of The Mother Tree Project and author of Finding the Mother Tree, Dreaming Trees poses a challenge to think about what trees dream about and invites you to explore the scientific research of the ‘Wood Wide Web’.

The Park will be illuminated from dusk until late everyday from Sunday 12-19 February. Ahead of the illuminations, free curriculum linked resources are available and there is an opportunity for children and young people to have their artwork projected live in the park.
