Cooke's Rose Farm

Started originally by a family of bulb-growers who settled in Jersey during the 1940s, Cooke’s Rose Farm is now one of the most popular florists on the island.

In 1960, the Cookes started growing roses under glass to sell to locals, and now their business has expanded to include daily deliveries of every type of flower you can think of.  Here are just a few of the species they sell:

  • Adolphe Audusson - Medium to large, semi-double, bright red flowers

  • Adelina Patti - Single Jersey flower which is pink edged white

  • Ave Maria - double flower which is creamy pink

  • Betty Foy Sanders- semi-double white irregular striped flower which is medium-sized

  • Carter’s Sunburst - semi double flowers which are medium to large pink striped deeper pink

  • Dahlohnega - Formal-double flowers, which are medium-sized and are soft creamy yello

  • Desire - double flower, which is medium to large, and pale pink. Shading to darker pink towards the petal margins
